The Ergorapido Ion has some unique and remarkable features. It charges four times faster and delivers 50% more power with lithium ion battery. It operates at full power the entire time it’s on, unlike other types of battery-powered vacuums. Its lightweight not only makes it easy to carry, but also helps in storing conveniently. When using as a stick vacuum, another highlighting feature is the 180 degree swivel head of the floor base. It is easy to steer around furniture legs with just a light twist of the handle. The front headlight illuminates the hard-to-see areas like under the sofas and makes cleaning easier at any time of the day.
Maneuverability becomes easier with better control and for that reason; the Ergorapido Ion is enabled with a rubber cliff hanger pad which allows the vacuum to stand without sliding. Emptying and cleaning
• Quick emptying of the dust container. Open the vacuum cleaner lid. Clean the dust container by placing the hose of another vacuum cleaner at the opening.
• Emptying of the dust container. Remove the filter; empty the contents into a dust container. Return filter and click dust container back into place.
• Quick cleaning of the fine filter (recommended every cleaning). Release the dust container; pull/release spring 5-6 times to dislodge dust.
• Cleaning of dust container and filters (recommended every 5th cleaning). Release dust container, take out both filters by pressing release buttons.
• Separate both filters. Dust container and filters can be shaken clean or rinsed in warm water (never in dishwasher). All parts must be dry before reassembled in reverse order.

The ErgoRapido Ion is a cordless stick vacuum that is lightweight, compact, and efficient! It does have a built-in hand vac,and a convenient base station for charging. The permanent filter works well, and is easy to clean.
I bought it for light cleaning between the regular 'heavy' vacuuming, but so far the ergorapido has out-performed my clunkier, noisier, overweight regular vac. This vacuum has completely exceeded my expectations of performance and ease of use. The stick vacuum has more than enough charge to do a light to moderate cleaning of @1000-1200 square feet (both carpeted and hardwood) as well as stairs and bathrooms with charge to spare. The swivel head is wonderful, though it is taking me a little bit to get used to it.
Love- no cord, light to see dust bunnies, brush for regular carpet!
Adapting to - swivel head, and how to place at rest (outside of charging station)
I've gone through a lot of stick vacs in the past, and been disappointed with their performance. So far, this is my top vacuum because it gets the job done! I do an incredible amount of vacuuming (three stories, mix of wood and carpet, multiple use intervals on a daily basis), and have tough performance standards. This product is so great that I want a second one for the house!

This is an 18 Volt model, and has a lot more suction power than the previous one I owned. My last one served me well for many years before the rechargeable battery died. When I went online I discovered that they come in various voltages, so I got this one. I think the additional expense is well worth it. This model comes with a couple of tools, a brush and a crevasse tool, which snap into the charging base. Otherwise, the design is almost identical to the Pronto I used to have. Just be aware that they look alike, but that there are several different voltage models out there. That accounts for the wide range of prices among Electrolux stick vacuums.

We have always used handheld vac for quick clean ups and inbetween clean ups. We ordered this one because my daughter has an earlier model and loves it. This is great for what it was intended for. This is not made to be an everyday do everything vac. We still use
our heavy duty vac for regular cleaning. But there is no way I would ever give this one up, I love it and you don't have to bend over to use it. It moves and turns and gets under things like a dream. Very handy and with the recharging stand it is always ready to go.
