I got the tree in brown & it came with 3 different hues of green leaves. We also got extra birds as well, which was really nice. It looks so good in our living room. The only thing, our walls are slightly textured so it was kind of a pain to put up. It didn't want to stick! We still have to rub it in spots once in awhile. It was well worth it though. It really makes a statment!

Nice quality, picture of pattern included to make piecing this together on the wall easier. Ordered as a Christmas gift, company said they shipped it on 12/10, never received it until 12/24, too close for comfort. When I finally received the package I could verify that everything I was told was correct, the company did indeed ship it on 12/10, priority mail, so this was an issue with US Postal Service. I spoke on several occasions to the owner of the company, who answered my calls promptly, returned calls when he said he would, and was very sympathetic to the problem. Actually offered to rectify the situation by asking me to pick another wall decal and he would send it out gratis. This was a refreshing change from a merchant who cared. Had he not made this offer I probably would never have made another purchase. I am a satisfied customer and would feel comfortable ordering from this company again.

We ordered this to enhance our nursery decor and LOVE it! Much less messy than doing a stencil, not as permanent as wall paper, and definitely makes a statement. The item seemed like it took forever to arrive, but it did arrive at the beginning of the delivery window. We layed out all the pieces flat for 24 hours before applying it. Definitely took 2 people. You could do it alone, but the extra set of hands is nice occasionally. We have a very old house with painted plaster walls and it appears that it will come off cleanly when/if we decide to redecorate. Took about 1 hour total to apply. I would suggest reading the directions, planning exactly where you want it to go, and being sure you like everything about placement before you start applying. Takes a little bit of attention to detail in order to get it on perfectly, but as long as you're patient with it anyone should be able to do it.

We bought one of these yesterday and returned it before 24 hours had passed. Water splashes everywhere, which is too bad, because this problem could easily have been avoided if the base had simply been an inch or two wider. There is no sound of trickling or dropping water; the water is almost silent (not what we wanted). On a positive note, the pump was extremely quiet.

Although a pretty little fountain, the "Mariposa" is obviously cheaply made. Like other reviewers, I could not get the petals positioned correctly, so instead of an even trickling of water down the petals, it all tends to gush over one side, and sometimes even splashes over the edge. The pieces do not fit snugly together, so I can't get the petals to stay at the right angle to fix the problem - they tilt whichever way they want. The petals are not sturdy at all, and, although I received this new, they look dingy.

If you just want an inexpensive fountain, this is good - the pump seems to work well and the water does flow (albeit unevenly). However, if you're looking for a good quality fountain that will last a while I suggest you look elsewhere.

The plastic leaves do look a little cheap but the lighting is nice. At first it made almost no sound. After about 30mins of making adjustments the fountain finally had a nice soothing sound to it. It is nothing luxurious but good for the price.

This device makes butter creaming a lot more effective, but leaves a thick band of butter just above the blade on the wall of the mixing bowl, requiring that you scrape it down. I don't know whether this is due to the design of the blade or the shape of the mixer bowl. This didn't happen on my old KitchenAid with the SideSwipe blade.

I was hesitant to order this product, as I wear a size 8 1/2 shoe and a few reviewers had said this is only good for kids shoes. I wear heels, flats, sneakers, and they all manage to fit in here. The pairs do not all stand up side by side as shown in the picture, but if you are willing to stagger your shoes (dress shoes) or place them on their sides (sneakers), you'll be fine. They will fit 2 per cubby.

I purchased 2 of these to organize my closets and what a mistake! First of all, they are a pain to put together. But after assembly I took them upstairs to start organizing my shoes. Big disappointment. The cubbies were way to small for my shoes. I wear a size 7 1/2 which is even below average and my shoes wouldn't fit. My husband's size 12 would have been a joke! So now I'm waiting for my 11 month old daughter to obtain 30 pairs of shoes because that is the only size that would fit into this crappy storage. DO NOT buy this product unless you have a ton of patience and size 5 or under shoes!!!

Pros:
-Durable! After a camping trip or two of hard use, there is still no sign of any loosening, chipping, cracking, or any other damage.
-Excellent balance let me use it for larger jobs then it's size would suggest.
-Good steel, kept it's edge well.
-Good sheath design (opens from the top) protects the edge and has no chance of it working loose during normal use.

Cons:
-Handle material doesn't grip very well. I would recommend either roughening the surface with sandpaper or wrapping it with grip or sport tape.

There isn't much more to be said. It's simple, solid, rugged, and functional.

Gerber Legendary Blades 45907 Review by aceyx (NYC)

I have the Fiskars version of this axe and am writing this review to tell you how to save your money. The Gerber-branded version of this axe bears the Fiskars stamp molded into the polyamide near the non-edge side of the head. Go to your local outdoor store and check it out if you don't believe me.

Picked up the Fiskars version at Lowe's for $20, and couldn't be more pleased. Excellent for making tinder, could be great for other things but I've only had it for a day. The only difference with the Gerber is that it does not come with the ballistic sheath (comes with a hard plastic safety cover/handle) but Gerber will send you the sheath if you ask nicely. It seems to fit well in the ice axe loops in my pack so I will probably just tape the blade if I take it camping.

My review only achieves four stars because the handle is rather slippery. Pick up a roll of hockey tape and wrap from the butt of the handle up, and you're still paying half price.

I am an American who became a chef in Paris, France, and fell in love with Le Creuset enameled cast iron cookery over a decade before the first Staub "La Cocotte" was cast. Staub innovations deliver the cooking performance, commercial durability, and increasingly easy cleanup that clearly surpassed Le Creuset. The "Almost No Knead" artisan quality bread touted by the New York Times and Cooks Illustrated bakes up better in the oval cocotte. The even heating quality of Staub cast iron and the superior tight fitting lid design allow this easy-to-make, healthier, crusty, yeast raised "slack dough" bread rival bread baked in expensive steam injected commercial ovens that sells for over $4 a loaf! The oval shape and size of this cocotte bakes a large loaf that slices well. Granted, cast iron is heavy... but heavy is the secret to spectacular cooking (and baking) as Staub interior enamel is the secret to easier cleanup with prolonged use. My home kitchen now includes a bevy of Staub bargains bought on Amazon.com and delivered fast and free on Amazon Prime. I've had the 7 quart Staub oval cocotte for a few weeks now, but it was too hot to cook anything stew-like until this week. Tonight I finally tried it out with a recipe for Chicken Stew with Winter Vegetables that I've been cooking for a good 10 years now. A classic Pierre Franey recipe. My old Le Creuset 5.5 quart French oven was never quite large enough. The Staub performed to perfection. It large enough to accommodate a large cut-up chicken and a ton of veggies with room to spare. It came up to a brisk simmer very quickly, and maintained the heat when I turned the heat to very low. The lid performs exactly as advertised. It seals completely. Not a wisp of steam came out of the pot. The spikes on the underside of the lid condensed the steam into moisture and cooked those vegetables at the top of the stew that were not completely submerged in the broth perfectly. My old Le Creuset would leave some of those veggies half-cooked while the rest were overdone. The veggies in this stew were all the same toothsome consistency.

I haven't tried to brown anything yet, but I am very impressed at the broad bottom surface that looks like it will accommodate a lot of meat at once. Very nicely designed.

Finally, the Staub is just gorgeous to look at. I know that how a pot cooks is more important than its looks, but, let's face it, we home cooks enjoy admiring our equipment. I bought the grenadine color and it is a really amazing shade of deep wine red, and the glaze is very glossy. It's just a pleasure to show off. I have a feeling that Staub may be discontinuing this color, because I got it for $199 on another site and now it is $203 on Amazon while the other colors are $239. So this color is a fantastic value if you buy it here or look around for a special.

I've been wanting an enameled cast iron stew pot for some time, and came across Staub at a kitchen store. As I've heard tell, Le Creuset is for the masses; Staub is for those in the know. I have the oval Cocotte in Grenadine, and purchased it as a package with two mini 1/2 quarts that will make a mean queso dip.

The biggest difference between the two brands is that Staub browns meat better and has the picots on the underside of the lid for self-basting. My chili came out more flavorful than I've ever made it in other pots, and my homemade spaghetti sauce was left simmering for 3 hours and came out savory as well. Whether that's due to the Staub's picots or my mad cooking skills, we may never know.

I highly recommend the Staub. I'd buy it again, and again, and again. As the brand gains more traction I've seen it carried in more and more kitchen stores in more size and color variety.

This is a crockpot, there isn't much you can say for them. You put in your food, turn it on, come back 8 hours later, and you have dinner.. a wonderful invention.
This one works perfectly. It is large enough for a small roast, but not large and cumbersome, like a 7 or 8 quart. It's oval shaped, and shorter, so it isn't as "tippy" as a round pot.
Well pleased with an excellent product.

I like the crock pot. I was looking for one that had a removable pot. The metal container and the lid are lightweight--they do the job, but are not as sturdy as I imagined. I reasoned that for what I paid for this, it was worth the money. I've only used it once, but it did a great job. I was able to put the pot in the fridge which makes it worth the money. It doesn't take up a lot of room on the counter either. If you are looking for something small and inexpensive, this would be a good choice.

Hexagon 4 qt. Braiser Saute Pan in Dark Blue Review by Losin' It

I have some generic cast iron pan that I love a lot more than this one and it was like $50 at TJ Maxx. This one...it's okay but I don't think it's worth the cost at all. It is very difficult to clean. Like a previous review stated things get stuck in the bottom of the pan. I have to scrub it with a scrub brush (one plus is it hasn't scratched at all even with rigorous scrubbing!) and even that doesn't get everything out sometimes. I won't be using it for anything other than liquids from now on.

I love this pan except that I have had to be careful what I cook in it. It's good for braising and for slow baking but it can be difficult to clean at times. Food particles can collect in the honey comb pattern on the bottom of the pan and they can be difficult to get out. Using plenty of moisture when cooking with this pan is key. The points in the lid of the pan help distribute the moisture back to the food. The pan is a nice weight and I prefer the side handles over a long pan handle. The handles don't take up any space so it's easy to use on the stove, in an oven, and make it very easy to store the pan without worrying about needing space for a long handle to take up. All in all, I am happy with this pan.

The Camp Chef SPG-90B has been a perfect choice for a camp stove and the BBQ box makes a good combination on top of this 3-burner stove. It is much sturdier than it looks in photos. It sets up in 2 minutes, and really IS portable despite having 3 burners. We wanted to look at one in person, but couldn't find a retailer anywhere in the area so we took a chance on buying this on the internet. Delivery was FAST! However, the photo on the internet shows a rack underneath and the description clearly says that it comes with a rack underneath. FYI - It doesn't. You have to buy one separately and it's $20-$30 from other sources. We do not regret this purchase though.

I have always been skeptical of the Dyson hype - I think most people love to talk about how good their Dyson is so they feel better about buying something that is four times overpriced and mediocre quality. I think the bottom line about vacuums is this:

1) Ambient air pressure is mostly constant and what matters most is not how much of a pressure differential it can produce, but the volume of air it can move and where the inlets are located. Don't be fooled into thinking that one vacuum is capable of generating more "suction" than another because it has a more efficient proprietary top secret impeller design - volume of air is what matters, not pressure differential and Dyson certainly doesn't have the exclusive on impeller design. Unfortunately you'll never see manufacturers rate their vacuums in CFM. This vacuum moves an impressive amount of air and on hard surfaces will pull dog hair into the beater bar from 5+ inches away - this is because it is moving a LOT of air. It also diffuses the exhaust very well, so the vacuum doesn't blow dirt around before it has a chance to suck it up. This was something my old bagless Eureka wouldn't do - and keep in mind I didn't replace it because it was performing poorly, I replaced it because I was tired of having to empty it 5 times to vacuum my house.

2) Efficiency in separating dirt from air is key - if you don't remove dust from the exhaust, the dust will just circulate through the air and settle again. This vacuum does a great job - it doesn't smell like a dirty vacuum, and in bright sunlight you don't see dust particles blowing around. Additionally the Kompressor functionality is amazing and lets you spend time vacuuming, not trying to find creative ways to not spill dirt everywhere when you empty the dirt chamber.

3) This vacuum has a Gates Micro-V belt, which is the same technology used in the accessory belt on your car - it contains V channels for increased grip and cooler operation. It also uses kevlar cords which are used to transmit the power, while the rubber is only expected to provide traction on the pulley - this means the belt will NEVER stretch like the belts on other vacuums, including the Dysons. Nobody can argue with longer belt life and better performance, can they? Then again, maybe the accountants at LG didn't realize they could sell you a crappy belt 50 cent belt for $14 after 12 months of use.

4) Nobody has really had a great way to store all of the attachments until this vacuum. I am really impressed with how well the attachment features store and operate.

5) Washable filters are key - this vacuum includes a spare, so you're not forced to spend time hunting down consumable items when you need them the most.

6) Noise. This thing is pretty quiet - in fact the quietest vacuum I've seen. Part of that is the strategy of moving a higher volume of air at a lower pressure.

Since this vacuum meets all of these criteria, it's a great buy. My only complaint is that the kickdown lever doesn't offer much traction regardless of footwear.

I saw this vacuum in July at HD. We were looking for a replacement for our Dyson DC17 animal which was working fine, but I was getting tired of pulling hair and string out of the roller brush. When we saw the LuV300B on sale, we bought one.

Assembly was straightforward. Right out of the box I knew it was a winner. It had more suction than my Dyson, adjustable brush height, 3 motor speeds, and a handy switch to turn off the roller brush. It was also quieter and more easily reached areas under tables and chairs. I had given up using the turbo wand on my Dyson, but this one is actually usable.

Pros:
Suction
Can do the whole house with out emptying (vs. 3 times for the Dyson)
Handy switch to turn off the brush
Quiet
Useful turbo brush.
5 Year warranty

Cons:
No retractable cord.
Somewhat heavy.

LG seems like they will stand behind this product, given the warranty. I've dropped my Dyson down a flight of stairs and it didn't hurt it. I hope the LG is that durable.
