this item came with no instructions at all. I called the company any they could tell me nothing. Once i got it together it works well. If it breakes i have no idea were i would get it replaced if there is any warranty.

I read other reviews and decided to take a chance and I was pleasantly surprised. It works great, sure if you turn it off or loose power to it, it will float up. But I have fine pine needles and Bamboo leaves constantly falling in the pond and this thing sucks them in great. I don't mind pushing it down in the water every so often, it sure beats getting the net out.

We finally received our koolscapes floating skimmer Tuesday..The skimmer came with out instructions, as others stated..But..it was partially assembled, and wasn't as hard as some had stated to put together. A couple of snaps and set it in the pond. Works good, have to clean the basket out everyday, but that is a lot better then standing out there with a skimmer net, and trying to get all the debrie out .. so I think it was a good investment.. I would recommend this product to others.. the only thing I have to say is that it took three days for them to just process my order, I didn't like that.. but otherwise I am happy with this purchase
